June 13th 2018: Wednesday

Today was spent conducting research on the body work of the motorcycle. We are discussing and comparing the different types of materials we could potentially use as body work. Things to keep in mind are weight, aerodynamics, strength, as well as cost. This aspect of the motorcycle can be divided into two parts: Design, and Manufacturing. The body work must be designed in such a way that allows air to be directed toward the parts of the motorcycle that require air-cooling. But once the design in finalized, the next major obstacle would be to actually produce all the components in a way that fits securely and safely on the frame of our motorcycle.
